Lovisa to complete the SKIP labelnight

Lovisa

Swedish jazz singer Lovisa will complete the first SKIP labelnight in April. The 26 year old singer from Stockholm will perform for the first time in Germany and we are very excited to see the winner of the Monica Zetterlund Jazz Vocal Scholarship on stage outside of Sweden. In early April her debut album "That Girl!" will be released, spanning a wide range of songs between evergreens and jazz standards by Burt Bacharach or Hoagy Carmichael but also pop gems written by James Taylor or the late Eva Cassidy.

Merry Christmas and  big thanks !

A big thank you to all the supporters who gave us the feeling that our efforts in 2007 were appreciated. Without your massive support our artists and the label would have been less successful. We are glad to meet your approval with our selection.

The year 2008 will start with new albums of Vocal Sampling (January), the Tingvall Trio (February) and Omar Sosa (March) , in January we finally see a tour of David Friedman Earfood & Jean Louis Matinier , in February we are looking forward to many European concerts of our South African artist Simphiwe Dana. And in April the first SKIP Label night will take place.

Have a wonderful Christmas season and a peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year. It would be great to experience together more magic moments in music.

Thank you

Your SKIP Records team
