 Susan Weinert has earned herself a well-deserved name on the jazz-circuit. One of the very few women in the realm of instrumental jazz, countless concert dates and eight albums under her own name are ample proof that "the lady's got chops".
It all began way back when in the 1980s, learning the trade with Richie Beirach and Dave Liebman, then solidifying her reputation two-step style: one with Steps Ahead, Mike Manieri's band, two with the ensemble fronted by Jimmy Earl, bass player with Chick Corea, before moving on totrip the lights fantastic on her own.
Both - the Susan Weinert Band, where her electric guitar is surrounded by a groove-orientated phonic scenario and the acoustic project Synergy are permanently developed further on in countless concerts...
