Pee Wee Ellis |

Saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis is a name you're certain to find in successful producer's address books. Whenever it comes down to icing the cake on a recording date with a top-flight solo, or arranging a horn section to sound tighter than tight, he's always a welcome guest.
Rod Stewart and Chris Isaak put his warm, grooving tone to optimal use; Tom Jones and Esther Phillips didn't waste a minute either. Tailor-made funk spanning years was his contribution to the immortal James Brown. Van Morrison booked the sunny Southerner time and again as musical director, and the world's stages resounded as he tripped the spotlights fantastic with Maceo Parker as the JB Horns.
